A lot of time this month has been spent planning and meeting with people.I decided to start doing some concept sketching yesterday for the peacock forest.
This is also part of my documentation process 'Today my workspace looks like'
it's a good way of creating a mood/environment whilst I work as well
The peacock king is turning out to be a very interesting character, and having spent some time recently in Auroville with some beautiful tamil music and influences with monsoon flooding in, I'm seeing him as a take off on murugan/kartikeyan.
darkskinned- possibly blue skinned. iridescent and shimmer.
the peacocks bring rain by dancing.
as always- was totally stunned by the beautiful coincidences between existing mythologies and what me and jitu create together. :)
